In true ambience style, each year the brand celebrates April Fools with an elaborate joke about lighting. In 2022 we got thinking outside the LEGO box and cooked up the idea of substituting metal finishes with LEGO bricks due to a global shortage of available materials.
Working with a 3D render artist, we developed a range of images to be used across the website and in the custom 3D light builder, inviting customers to make their own LEGO light creations.
The prank was so well received that people actually want ambience to produce a real light, so that's what planned next.
